SMPS440-TK4 is a single output 400W unregulated switching power supply targetting DC-DC converters while maintaining a unique sound signature. 36VDC output.
It is compatible with both the Taiko Audio DC-DC and the HDPlex 800w (not 400w) DC-DC converters.
This power supply combines all the experience and techniques needed to deliver a new unique SMPS with unmatched performance.

SMPS440-TK4 comes with PFC front end and a full set of 330uf 450V Mundorf AG for primary side rectification, and 10000uF Mundorf AG output capacitance. All main caps have ceramic bypass capacitors installed.
Even with very high loads (HQPlayer running at DSD1024 rates, for example), the heatsink on the PSU barely becomes warm due to zero current switching techniques involved (very low losses).
The capacitance value above is determined by the height of your chassis.
